#SWaddleWalk

Move with confidence. Prepare for birth. Build your village.

The Perinatal Walking Group is a supportive movement community for pregnant and postpartum moms who are ready to reject the outdated message that pregnancy means sitting down, shrinking back, and waiting for birth to happen to them.

You are not fragile.

You deserve safe, informed opportunities to strengthen your body, improve mobility, connect with other mothers, and prepare for the physical and emotional demands of birth and postpartum recovery.

This is more than a walking group.

It is a space to move, learn, ask questions, build community, and become an unrelenting advocate for yourself.

Join the Perinatal Walking Group. Tuesdays ay 8:30am.

You Were Made to Move

Too many pregnant people are told to “take it easy” without being given meaningful guidance about what safe, supportive movement can actually look like. Unless your medical provider has identified a reason to limit activity, pregnancy does not automatically require you to become inactive. We walk because movement matters. We gather because isolation should not be part of the pregnancy or postpartum experience. We learn because informed mothers are better prepared to participate in decisions about their bodies and their care.

Appropriate movement may support:

  • Hip mobility and pelvic comfort

  • Cardiovascular endurance

  • Functional strength for labor

  • Confidence in your changing body

  • Stress reduction and emotional well-being

  • Postpartum recovery

  • Connection with other mothers

  • Greater awareness of your body’s needs
